The Governor’s Export Awards are the State of Illinois’ highest recognition of export achievement and recognizes small and medium-sized businesses and organizations that work to promote export awareness for Illinois’ products and services.

In announcing the awards, Governor Quinn said that these businesses and organizations have been integral in Illinois’ economic recovery.

Illinois exports have increased by 58 percent since 2009 and have created many jobs across the state. We’re honoring these companies because they have helped the state reach more than $60 billion in exports in each of the last three years – by far the most we’ve ever exported.”
